My Take: Google banned me from Adsense- part 2

Hello fellow Bold investors!

I wanted to give you an update about my dispute with Google over my Adsense account.

In case you haven't read my last take, Google informed me that my Account has been disabled for invalid clicks/page impressions.
I immediately emailed Google informing them that there has been some kind of mistake, since I did not perform any kind of invalid activity on my blog.
Meanwhile I got some great advice from the Blogcatalog community about Adsense alternatives and ways to deal with it. (thank you very much!)

Well nearly two weeks have past since, and today I finally got a response from the Google Adsense team, unfortunately as expected they haven't change their mind about my blog, calming they rechecked and found that the activity on my blog has violated their terms and conditions and program policies.

Personally I really love Google, and use a lot of their products, its too bad I wont be able to use Adsense on my blog. (they also bother to mention I can't and shouldn't try open a new account).

Now lets also take a look at the other side of the equation as well, if you put yourself in Google's gigantic shoes its critical for them to protect and keep their advertising programs to a very high standard, mainly because most of revenue comes directly from Advertising, one could only imagine what will happen if advertisers start question Google's standards as well as policies.

As for Boldinvestors, so far I've been testing several advertisers including: Adbrite, Bidvertiser, and I think I will test some more soon.

Like every sort of misstep or crisis I believe that there's an opportunity laying in this whole situation, as I said before I tend to focus more now on the content and design, a critical part to a great blog as I see it, I also think that you can make a decent profit with your blog using other services besides Adsense.

I'd love to read your thoughts on the matter, Once again I thank all of you who gave a hand in my previous post.

Cheers, and Be Bold!
YHO

I agree. There are still many ways to monetize your blog.

I haven't had any AdSense issues, but I'm not "permitted" to use Google Checkout because of.. whatever policies (I'm not exactly clear). I think it's because have products for adults.

Nevertheless, Blogger is full of hard core pornographic blogs, so I don't always get the paradox.

I know we all feel like we really need Google, so I feel your dismay.

Sorry to hear that Google did not change their mind. Well, when there is a crisis, it opens a new opportunity for you. There are still many alternative out there, maybe you can be more successful than using Adsense. Move on and I am sure success will be just ahead of you.

Nothing i can said. JUst try other PPC like bidvertise, adbrite, adengage, clicksor or obeus. Maybe you can earn well from that.
