Good morning folks, we all wake up this morning to an interesting headline, apparently the iPhone's firmware(image) is now available as download from Apple's servers.
Now before you wonder: Are they insane? Steve's got a fever?
Well no.. the answer is actually that Apple released it for iPhone owners who'd like to restore their iPhone to factory settings.
So its going to be pretty interesting now to see the kinds of hacks that are going to pop out soon, and maybe even unlocking the iPhone, much like what happened with Apple TV.
Maybe we ll' finally see how much of OSX it really is.
