Hello folks, I've just read a research that noted that Anti-capitalism is on the rise.
The research was conducted by the Financial Times, and found the following:
"A popular backlash against globalisation and the leaders of the world's largest companies is sweeping all rich countries, an FT/Harris poll shows.Large majorities of people in the US and in Europe want higher taxation for the rich and even pay caps for corporate executives to counter what they believe are unjustified rewards and the negative effects of globalisation .
Viewing globalisation as an overwhelmingly negative force, citizens of rich countries are looking to governments to cushion the blows they perceive have come from the liberalisation of their economies to trade with emerging countries."
Entrepreneurship - is the practice of starting new organizations, particularly new businesses generally in response to identified opportunities.
Entrepreneurship is often a difficult undertaking, as a vast majority of new businesses fail. Entrepreneurial activities are substantially different depending on the type of organization that is being started.
First I believe capitalism is a balanced and cycled economic system, no doubt its not always fair, but face it that's life!
I know some of you may comment and write stuff like "rich are getting richer and poor are becoming poorer". But the idea of free market economy and capitalism actually goes deeper, its freedom at its finest. Economic freedom in other words, the freedom to imagine, create and fulfill.
As for that notion that this entire wealth accumulation is unfair and wrong, I strongly disagree. Most of these people, capitalists, have certainly worked for their wealth and were good enough and lucky to succeed. I think they deserve our full appreciation for their work, as well as for their wealth.
I think this trend of Anti-capitalism is a particularly dangerous one, and just plain wrong.
Punitive taxes and attempts to redistribute the wealth will hit entrepreneurs hard.
And since entrepreneurship and free market economy is the main source for economic growth in modern countries, just guess what's gonna happen?
I'd love to read your thoughts so feel free to comment.

This is an interesting post; I enjoyed it.
I'm not sure though that anti-capitalizm is rising as much as our focus on dramatic and polarized issues. Nowadays, it seems to me that the more dramatic the poll or conversation point, the more published it becomes, creating the illusion that it means something. This isn't about your post; it's about the poll.
All my best,
Rich
I see no comment after 2007. Here is a solution oriented blog on Deep Conscious Capitalism.
